I chose, thus I belong

Today I am watching the sun rise on the eastern bay of India, tomorrow I will see how the sun goes down over the great Pyramid of Giza. Today I behold the starry night, the day before I witnessed the birth of Venus. Tomorrow I will be hanafubuki in the Japanese countryside, falling over aimlessly with no visible hurry. Overmorrow will bring the ancient city of Istanbul , where I will pet a cat or twenty. Today I exist in Rome, Athens or Marseille, yesterday I stood before the ruins of Nalanda. My previous life, perhaps, was a shepherd from Mesopotamia; next life will be spent under mystical Northern lights. Life has shown la joie de vivre; where I feel like walking through a Jane Austen novel.

This life, before or after — I am, I was, I will.

In so many possibilities of ambiguous existence, I chose harmony in an obsolete paradox. I am honey stored in eternity.

I chose, thus I belong.
