Hues and Human

Imagine joy being bright yellow confetti falling all over your head with pink sparkles of love. You inhaled that orange powder of excitement a little too much.

Guilt is mossy green that grows under your carpet every night while the soggy carpet turns purple with fear.

Anger is a bright red charcoal that burns your hand frequently. You think a faded blue bath of sadness might soothe you nicely.

When the colors get too much to bear, you draw the greyscale curtains of despair and dejection.

Now you suffer. Suffer until the black tar sticks tight to your skin. Slowly it catches your lungs and makes it harder to breathe.

And just like that, a soft white blanket makes it all go away — Sleep, sleep, sleep! Yellow, pink, orange…..
